Christmas is really good for business but not so good for my dashboard!
I wish I didn't feel the need to look at it!

I feel your pain! I have found a lot of newbies floating around ebay as possibly on the look out for xmas pressies and they don't always know how the star system works.

To some extent it might be down to inexperience, but from some of the recent feedback I've seen, there seem to be quite a few self-centred vultures Christmas shopping on eBay at the moment.

In particular, I've seen quite a few critical comments about slowness of despatch, with responses from sellers stating that the buyer either took forever to pay or only paid when a NPB case was launched.

This morning, I received an eBay message from someone offering half the price of an item I have listed, plus they want me to deliver it (it's a largish, heavyish item) to their address, at my own expense, by 10am tomorrow, (over 50 miles away and the other side of London) "or the deal is off". [They're blocked! ;)]

Funnily enough, their 'feedback left for others' shows they just love confrontation - there's a surprise!

  • Ran a couple of reports and realised that I charged someone £2.70 for an item which went as a large letter 90p - so the 1* she gave me was deserved!
Shame she did not contact me first for a refund on the difference...

I agree and that is why when we get buyers on here asking what to do about leaving stars when they have been overcharged for P and P I hope we all recommend they speak to the seller before doing anything.

Christmas does seem to do for a lot of us, it seems likely I am going to get slammed soon on my lost Collect Plus parcel.
