Direct Debit Indemnity Credit Card Payment

I am looking for some advice. I usually pay off my credit card in full but last month decided to cancel the direct debit and make a one off payment. I called my bank and credit card company to cancel quite close to the payment date. I was told it should all be fine but to call back if there were any problems. Unfortunately the payment was taken so I called my bank. They immediately refunded me the money in full. However my credit card balance is still showing the two payments and I am now +£200! I have called both the credit card company and the bank and they have told me everything is fine but I'm worried that in the background my credit card company is refusing to refund my bank and that this will come back to bite me. Please can someone advise if there is anything I should be doing? Is this likely just to be a delay in the process and the credit card account will be back to normal at some point (this was a month ago now)

As you recalled the DD, who do you think will be funding this?
What do you think that will do to your account balance?0
