It's soooo frustrating - honestly, nearly every appt I get is either a ridiculously early time in the morning (Crohn's people aren't good 1st thing!) or really late afternoon - I often wonder if they look to see where I live and go "haha - let's give her that one":(WantToBeSE wrote: »I hope you enjoy your nice relaxing day. I am back in my PJs after dropping my youngest at school, and i plan on having a relaxing day too, as once they break up (tomorrow formy oldest, Friday fr the youngest) it'll be full on non-stop until they go back to school in January.
Ohhhhhh a PJ day is def required then!:)Snap... been up that long too drives me nuts being up that early
I'm sure it's the meds ..... I was getting a bit better and sleeping till around 5 (which isn't far off when I usually get up & copeable with IYKWIM) but have been back to 3ish the past week or so.
Actually - writing that's just made me realise they changed all my meds last Mon so it's almost certainly that. Hopefully it'll settle down soon

hope it settles for you soon as it's so annoying
mine is sleeping completely the wrong times so is a catch 22 situation...I was so exhausted after hospital fiasco yesterday that I was asleep before 8pm and I was intending trying getting my routine back yesterday but thanks to the hospital that didn't happen but will have to have a small kip now as feel jittery and then hopefully stay awake until at least 10pm to try and get back in to sleeping the right time.
have a good day x0 -
Ohhhh Taxi ..... that's exactly what's happening with my sleep pattern too
I tried to have a wee nap but it didn't happen so I've got up again & had a lovely relaxing bath- I'll potter around for another couple of hours and then try to have a couple of hours snooze mid afternoon - in the hope that I too can manage to stay away past 8pm tonight and break this horrid circle!

So ..... just been outside (only as far as the bin!) and it's blooming cold out there!
It's really windy ..... will pluck up the courage to enter the field for the bike after lunch!:) Honest
Currently working my way through the Handy Links at the start of the Frugal Living Challenge - I've been through them before (long time ago) but had forgotten about a lot of themSome great ideas for HM presents on there so will def be looking at that for next year!:)
Really need to get crafting again too - I've no excuses now that I've got the table for the SMNeed to do some practicing first as it's been around a year  since I've had anywhere to sew so out of practice.
Have the 4 cushions I got cheap @ I*kea - which I bought to intentionally cover .... and lots of material ... so ....Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

Good news
Just had the garage on the phone & my new tyres have arrived :j - getting them fitted on Friday:)
I have to go to town for blood tests & then to drop sick note into work and the garage is only another 10 miles up the road so makes sense to do it when I'm 1/2 way there .....really, really chuffed at getting these, especially as I've had the car for 3 months :T
I'm going to get them to put the new ones on the front and put the front ones on the back which should even out the wear on those .... and I'll hopefully not need new ones until late 2014:)
Have to say that it's just as well as the mpg on it is awful compared to the manualhoping that having the right sized tyres on might help with this too! Fingers crossed:)

Not so good news ......
Well.... Maud the Mojave has been rescued from the field ..... and the poor soul's in need of a fair bit of TLC
Her handlebars need a good clean up (rust), I think the front tyre (which was flat before she went in the field
) is unsalvageable  and the rear one's not looking too promising either ........ will have to speak to my nice friendly bike man and see how much to replace them - I can get them online for around £10 - £15 but would struggle to fit them so ...
 I don't have a bike fund / pot  - guess it'll have to come out car maintenance
She's tucked up in the garage just now which is fine while the weather's OK but the problem happens when I need to put the car in (both won't fit!) or I need to leave the garage open for deliveries (nowhere to secure her to in there). T&Cs of insurance are really specific about how she can be stored/secured .....Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

Help please!
Arrgggghhhh - does anyone know anything about those coffee machines that take the pods?
Not got DF a Christmas pressie yet  & neither has DM & she mentioned that he'd been talking about them and thought they were great (but the pods were a bit expensive ....) and we could maybe go halves on one BUT neither of us know anything about them.
There seems to be a quite a few of them on offer just now

But I really have no idea if there's one better than the other or if the cheapest is fine IYKWIM!
I looked for an "appliances" type board but couldn't find one .... any thoughts anyone?Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

fab news on the tyres
Yup .... I guess the way to look at it is that I've got new tyres (free) for the car - so having to buy new tyres for the bike is a lot cheaper than having to replace the car ones:)Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)
