  • Hello everyone :) can't believe another week has flown by already :o honestly it's get up, walk Maisie, feed everyone ... work .... home, walk Maisie, feed everyone, bath & bed! And the days' are still disappearing!

So ..... hopefully things will start to turn around :) Finally managed to catch up with my consultant mid week and he's agreed I don't have to have anymore infusions :j:j:j

Was put back onto my old meds (along with other new ones introduced in Jan) - even although they apparently aren't the best thing for Crohn's - they obviously work for me!

Had a slight hiccup yesterday as Registrar phoned me at work & Liver Function is still pants (another good reason for stopping the infusions!) so I've had doses re-adjusted & another couple of meds introduced for a bit .....

I sort all my meds for the week into a daily pill container - it's struggling to get them all in just now! (can manage the morning ones!)

Some meds are 2 & some 3 x per day which isn't great for me as I'm terrible at remembering these ones (mornings are OK as I always have breakfast at home so easy to remember).

Anyway.... infusion stuff takes around 12 weeks to get out your system so hopefully I'll start to feel better soon ..... Dad told me the other day it took him a year to get over his big flare  so it might take a bit longer.

    How's everyone else?

Loads of diaries to catch up on ..... roast chicken in the oven (just about ready :)) so planning on some reading once I've had that!

It's bloomin' freezing here - but we're getting off lightly compared to some:eek: hope you're all safe & warm .... doesn't bother Maisie at all - took her to the woods near the beach this morning (decided muddy dog was better than trying to battle the blowing sand) and she was in/out water filled ditches  having great fun ...... wind was horrid tho'

Def need to invest in a better wind proof jacket with hood!:o

Back shortly! (roast chicken calling ... yum :))
