Update on my MSE day. Not only have a re-negotiated a new phone deal with Vodafone, saving me £40 per month and getting a new phone. I have now registered with envirophone via Quidco earning me £1.49 and have recycled an old phone (my old phone went to DS, his old phone went to DD and her old phone has been recycled) and earned £24.79
Not bad at all.0 -

- Reisisted all the usual crap I often buy on a Satuday on my browse around the shops
- Arranged to collect a new iron from freecylce tomorrow to replace my one that's on its last legs
- Lunch and tea from cupboards/freezer

Today I have cut up my Barclaycard!
Still a gazillion pounds to pay off it, but at least I can never be tempted to spend on it again.
Of course, I had the inevitable "final spend" and bought a year's car tax on it. Oh well. Now I am fully taxed and ready to save!:o0 -
Evening,
Well,
*youngest DS has been at a party today, so I packed off eldest DS to the grandparents rather than take him and have to buy him sweet and drinks!!
*I needed some new earphones for my iPod (wanted the ear clip ones for jogging) and price checked 4 store before going back to store 2 for the cheapest (saved £3!!)
*Avoided the supermarket as I spend LOADS in them, and just grabbed bread and milk from corner shop
*Spent rest of the day pottering around the house - costs nothing!!
Still feel really skint though.:(DFW #414, MoneySaver, Income Booster
