Thailand - Flights

We want to go to Thailand after 21st July for about 2 weeks. We have Thai relatives so accommodation etc no problem. I just need some really cheap flights (or alternatively leave the kids behind ) It's coming to aroung £2.5K for 4 at the mo :eek: and I need to get it to under 2. Are prices likely to drop as we get closer, or do I need to resign myself to saving some more for next year?

Call a travel agent such as https://www.trailfinders.com and see if there are some 'inclusive tour' fares, you may only have to pay for one night in a hotel, but you don't have to stay there, if they are available it might bring the total cost down.

Was looking at flights to bkk this morning - £451 inc from glasgow with Emirates

london , manchester and birmingham were all roughly the same price

Virgin Atlantic sales.. Return flight to Bangkok 419 pounds...not sure how much the taxes will cost though.
