I've never done challenges before but it sounds like a great idea. I'm going to do the A to Z and win £2013.
Good luck everyone
Good things come to those who comp0 -
I've never done a challenge before and my comping is a bit sporadic as I'm a student, so sometimes I can't make much time for comping! So, I'm going to stick with £2013 in 20130

Hi Everyone,
I had some success with competitions last year - winning 2 top class tickets for the Athletics at the Olympics, a day for two at The Sanctuary, case of wine, a fridge freezer and several smaller, but extremely welcome prizes. This year I have several things I would like to win (smart tv, weekend break, ipad and money!!) but think I will go with £2013 in 2013.
Thanks to all who post competitions - I have already won £10 Asda voucher in the Heinz Winter Warmers comp. x0 -
I'm doing the A-Z challenge and the win £2013 worth of things in 2013 - it will be fun to see if I can manage it!
I think I'm going to find it hard to value some prizes though..for instance my Pepsi t-shirt has a value of £14.99 on the label but I saw it selling online for £4.50 (plus a few quid for P&P) so I wasn't sure how much to put it as. In the end I went for the lower price including the P&P as that is how much it would have cost me to buy. Although it is going to take me longer to get to £2013 if I do it that way! I'd like to know how other people are going about valuing their prizes for the challenge? RRP or the actual price it would cost you to buy (or somewhere in the middle?)?
I'm also going to try to win birthday/xmas presents again this year. I managed a few 2012 but still had to buy loads so would like to do better this time round !January 2016:

I usually go by the RRP, it makes me feel better
Or if I know it's being sent by a specific company, I will go by whatever the price is that they selling it for, if that makes sense.0 -
I usually go for the RRP too. The book I've won is only £5.03 on Amazon, but it says £11.99 on the back of it so I've awarded myself £12 towards my target!0

I might try a prize challenge 13...(of thirteen things I would like to win such as, a mattress, cash prize, hamper..then mark them off if I win.
)
I did the A-Z a couple of yrs ago too but I couldn't finish it for the difficult letters!Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!0 -
If nobody minds I'd like to join in with the same 4 challenges as Tinktinkerbell.
