Belated thanks to piglet25 for the information at post #7.

Sympathies with Schick3. . . though congratulations on your tenacity.

A day or two after posting my last comment here, I received another email from iFlorist CS. I don't know what was in it because I'd no interest in hearing anything further from them: Customer Services had twice, on two separate days, told me that there would be no "free delivery" until the Christmas season was over, despite their website continuing to advertise the exact opposite.

It's possible that last email which I binned unopened contained news of a change of heart -- certainly, I've just checked the website to theoretically order a gift box and, at check-out, delivery is listed as £00.00.

If, as seems to be the case, iFlorist has now put things to right, good luck to it. But if an online business can breach customer trust in the way iFlorist did, there ain't much point, where I'm concerned, in bothering to ever deal with it again, whether it holds a Queen's Award for Enterprise 2012 or not. Some enterprise, huh?:(

An update on my order - delivered as ordered, no problems at all so can confirm they have at least one happy customer on here. Cashback has even tracked through Quidco.

I note that the free delivery has a '*excludes hampers' on it's ad - not sure if that is new but hopefully goes some way to letting those know what is, or is not included in free delivery.

I too have been conned by Iflorist what flowers there were arrived in a cheap tacky pretend plant pot!!
Should have been a pretty basket with a handle.
Arrangement was completely different to that illustrated.
Will pursue via visa - very annoyed and disappointed.

Yes. It's new. The amendment hasn't been made on all the web pages but I guess they've made it clear enough. . . now. Too late for us but at least other people shoudn't find themselves of being at the very point-of-payment and having to stop to ask what's going on here. . .
