Mobile Broadband: Great deals on O2 USB dongles and O2 Pocket Hotspot until 10th Dec!

Options
I've just noticed a great deal available until 10th December 2012 on O2 Mobile Broadband USB Dongles and the O2 Pocket Hotspot.

Buy either direct from the O2 website with an O2 data starter pack (for your first month) and it's half price. This makes their USB dongle (the Huawei E173) just £10.32 (with a 1GB data starter pack) or £12.87 (with a 2GB starter pack).

BUT click through to the O2 website from a cashback site and get £25 cashback on top, effectively meaning you GET PAID £14.68 or £13.13 for the Huawei dongle 1GB or 2GB starter packs respectively. TopCashback, Quidco and iMutual all currently offer £25 on O2 PAYG mobile broadband orders.

The O2 Pocket Hotspot allows you to create a mobile wifi hotspot and connect up to 5 devices to it. These are currently on special offer at £35.10 with the 1GB starter pack or £37.65 with the 2GB starter pack - effectively only £10.10 or £12.65 respectively, after the £25 cashback.

Once your O2 data starter pack has expired, use a giffgaff SIM (with a gigabag) for a cheaper data experience - giffgaff runs on the O2 network so there is no need to unlock the dongle or hotspot - just change a few settings.

I just ordered a Pocket Hotspot via iMutual and the £25 cashback tracked within a few minutes! :T

    topcash has the same
Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.

Yup, agreed - that's why I mentioned them in my post. However I'd rather have 250 (potentially more valuable) iMutual shares than an extra 25p from TopCashback, so I ordered via their cashback site.
  • Damn seems I missed the boat, Quidco now £5, topcash now £5.05!
  • Still showing as £25 on imutual

And it looks like o2 have extended the half price sale until 2 January :j

  • Yeah but unfortunately been trying for a couple of days and after you verify your card it says there is a problem and to call them... it's not my card being declined as the second time I tried I typed in the security code for my other card and got a completely different mesage.

Tried a few days running and still no luck :(
  • Just ordered the £35.10 hotspot and £25 showing as tracked on imutual :)
