Opening Nationwide online ISA issue 7

I have a fixed rate nationwide isa maturing in 7 days time.
There is nothing worth tying my money up for at the moment so
i am going to open the online ISA isuue 7 at 2.5%, its not great
but you don't get much more if you fix.
Any way do i open the online isa now and wait for my fixed isa to
mature then transfer the money or do i open it on maturity of my
fixed rate isa and do the opening and transfer in one transaction.
