Blackberry Playbook Fault & Fix

Just received one of my playbooks back from RIM, sent last Friday through Fedex (RIM arrange and pay for all transport) to Germany for repair, and fixed and returned yesterday to me, for delivery today.
I was weary of doing it direct with the manufacturer rather than get CarphoneWarehouse to do it, but it's taken just over a week (including the first call, on a freephone number) and it's back up and running.
The only downsides are I lost a couple of personal videos (one classic children recording my wife "mum, say things!") but that's one for the lessons learned, and I've got a NAS coming shortly to back up, and there's no explanation of what they actually did to fix it, which would be useful.
