Grrrrrr csa!!!!!!

more of a rant than anything else!!!

finally got dna test results back and fortunately they came back positive for both.
now even before i said i want tests, the PWC blocked all contact and access to, in her own words, "get more money from you"
CSA Dont want to know about any of that stuff, as long as they get their money.
so yet again, pwc holds all the cards, and the NRP get screwed.
so basically left with the choice of paying 500 a month for children that i cannot have anything to do with, or have to drag it either through courts, without knowing her new address or phone number, or on jeremy kyle.....

what incentive is there for the pwc to let the nrp have anythign to do with his/her children apart from morals, which unfortunately, my ex has none of!!!

it is a disgraceful situation. I would get on to the families need fathers site and seek advice there. You do not necessarily need a solicitor, there is a 'mackenzie friend' service offered which would be a lot cheaper.

The PWC has been misinformed if she thinks that blocking contact to the children will get her more money. Child Maintenance is a set percentage of the NRP's salary (with deductions for overnight stays etc etc)

Perhaps explaining this to the PWC will enable her to change her mind.

    How old are the children?

BY cutting access she does get more money. i.e no shared care allowed removed, no variation for the cost of visitations.
  • Yes but the starting percentage is the same, I know what your saying though.

What do YOU think the real issue is? That she doesn't want the kids to see you at all, or that she wants more money?

    1) she wants more money
    2) she thinks she now has a control over me because she holds the cards

if i go down the court route and self represent, can anyone find a set of instructions of what to do? i dont think i can afford a couple of grand to do it proper lol
  • If you were to see the children for one overnight stay everyother week-end she could keep the maximum child maintenance - this way you both get what you want. Can you suggest this to her.

You might find that the court service itself is helpful, that is where I would get started if you want access to your kids
