electric items, hand or hold luggage?

I've been looking on the Jet 2 website for information about where to pack electrical items, but there doesn't seem to be any. I would prefer to pack these in the hold luggage but I'm sure that there was some restriction that you couldn't pack electrics in checked in baggage.

Does anyone know for sure?

Depends how much they are worth / how important they are to you.

If they aren't expensive & you don't care if they go AWOL then stick them in checked luggage, otherwise put them in hand luggage

I ti hard to keep with the rules these days ... rather than risk it I always pack electrical in my hold baggage. Also remember that anything that contains more than 100ml of liquid shouold be packed in your hold luggage ... I forgot this and DW lost a £50 bottle of perfume and I lost some stuff as well (ironically I had gone out and bought the 'travel size' .. must have been old stock because it was all 125ml).
