SyncToy was running when there was a glitch in the connection between one computer and the other. This made SyncToy think that the target folders didn't exist - so it erased all the source folders and files to make the two PCs 'match'! :eek:
I moved to SyncBack and even paid for the SE version, and have never looked back since. The free version is often good enough for people's needs.0
