Worcester Bosch 28i Junior Condensing Combi Boiler
Hi
I am after a bit of advice with regards to getting a replacement boiler fitted & wondered if you could help
We currently have a Baxi Genesis 80 Combi boiler in a 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom terraced house with 6 radiators, and were looking for a direct Combi boiler replacement. We have got a quote from Worcester Bosch, which is to fit a 28i Junior Condensing Combi Boiler which has come back at 2695 + VAT. This includes:
Please could you let us know if, in your opinion, this is a reasonable quote? I was hoping for something more around the 2k (inc VAT) mark for Worcester or Valliant type quality, but maybe I'm being too hopeful!
Thanks

Who is the installer? A local GSR RGI will invariably be cheaper than a national.
It's also about the most expensive time of year to have the boiler changed (at the onset of winter). No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -
Is this by chance a British Gas quote as it looks very expensive for a boiler swap.0

BG are typically 39% more expensive (Which? figures, not mine). No free lunch, and no free laptop0

That is very expensive for that boiler, which is really a cheap end of the market boiler.
I would expect you to get a slightly better boiler for around your £2k inc vat thoughts.0
