Oh...well then that doesn't work... You need to turn the thermostat on the cylinder down as far as possible so your water is hot but not scalding hot when it comes out of the tap farthest from the cylinder. In your case better timed but most people have an airing cupboard and can use the "waste" heat for airing things.ReflexReaction wrote: »My tank is in the loft

Okey Dokey, I'll leave it on timed. I still have no idea how long to leave it on timed per day for - how long does the average baxi back boiler fill an average sized hot water tank?
