I wonder if you can help.

I am in the process of purchasing a bath, and while that is reasonably priced the cost of the plug taps etc is amazing

Can anyone recommend somewhere online or ina shop that sell at good value.

I don't want them failing on me, so still a good quality product but at a good price.

What is your budget and what is important to you in terms of quality and style?

Loads online that offer a 10 year guarantee, check them out as I can't recall the ones I've used, there are so many.

Most are Italian or such like and the only time I had any trouble all I had to do was photograph the issue and email the trader.

Most stuff now simply gets replaced if there is an issue, with little question.

It's a common practice now for replacement to user instead of expensive inhouse quality control and inspection at the manf.
The buyer is essentially QC and they expect a few failures.

Sad, but that's the price for affordable fittings

Lidl and Aldi often have German made taps and showers with decent guarantees which feel solid. Have never bought one yet but have looked at them previously

It is for a buy to let, so I am not looking to spend a fortune, but want fixings that won't break at the slightest touch, and will withstand someone not being as careful as if it was their own home!
