yeah, thats the good thing with dealing with big companies, they do focus on customer service and will take a hit on a few customers and still be polite and reasonable with you.0 -
That is the first positive report I have read about Evans Halshaw, :A"A nation's greatness is measured by how it treats its weakest members." ~ Mahatma Gandhi

hi
if you have signed the order form as a finance customer you can cancel and get your deposit back,
if you have signed as a cash customer you have actually signed the order form to say you have the funds to pay for that car, the dealer legally force you to buy the car.
but they wont they will just keep the deposit if they are a terrible dealer,
i always gave deposits back no matter what the buyers remose excuse was because you never knew if they guy would come back a few weeks later or if he had just recomended a relative who was about to buy, couldnt see the point of upsetting people for £100, would i like it done to me, no, so why do it to others0 -

There may however be a financial penalty in doing so.
No organisation can issue a penalty other than one which has proper legal status such as a local authority.
However, there maybe an admin charge involved which I certainly wouldn't think it would be more than £100. From a legal point of view, they would have to show a breakdown of their losses if they were to charge more and pursue it.PLEASE NOTEMy advice should be used as guidance only.
