Laptop Again

My D/D has just informed me her laptop battery has died also message appearing on screen says turn off, fan not working,this HP l/t is one week out of 2yr guarantee :eek:
Mine has been struggling for over a year Sony keyboard broken ,but have had to replace dishwasher,mend washer,however do I try to get hers mended ,she is at Man Uni in middle of final year with exams,don't know where to take it for repair in Man any recommends .
Also bearing in mind her needs maybe I need to buy a new one if only for myself £300-400 again recommends ,bought her a net book last year Acer but it performs badly and does not connect to wifi very well,help peeps

laptop 1 battery has died because of constant use on mains electricity, you can buy replacements, it also sounds like it needs a good clean as dust is blocking the fan and making it overheat.
Laptop 2 get keyboard repaired.
Best take them both into the same same shop near you is DD home for christmas? do it then.0 -
Keyboard could be easily repair. Or simply buy a wireless keyboard.0
