Recommend me a sharpener.
Looking for something under a tenner to rejuvenate old and blunt garden shears and secateurs.
I've seen these recommended by one of the newspaper gardening columns
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Draper-76765-Tungsten-Carbide-Multi-Sharpener/dp/B00205QO6W/ref=sr_1_1?s=diy&ie=UTF8&qid=1354646717&sr=1-1
but while on amazon, this also had good reviews, the downside being it needs fixing to a wall or bench.

Anyone got any comments or other suggestions?

All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

I just use an ordinary "canoe stone" like this: http://shop.tcv.org.uk/shop/stock?l=level3;lid=17;sid=241
They are widely available from tool shops. If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.0 -
i use a sharpening stone / wheel - only if needing to get a new edge on the blades
for everyday sharpening - a rough sandpaper is more than adequatesaving money by growing my own - much of which gets drunk
