noni! I have had two Samsung LCDs a 32" and my present one 46".
Both gave an excellent picture quality, but I must say the 32" was better (because it was a smaller screen so the pixels were not stretched so much).

They were bought mainly to watch "Moto GP" on Eurosport, and there is no blurring on panning.

I used automatic install, and it did the job well, but I do change sound settings for different programmes eg: music and speech.
  • LCDs and plasma are set up out for the box to the "WOW" factor in shops and showrooms (bright colours - vibrate but over saturated etc..). This often results in un natural colours when you actually set it up at home and start watching.

First thing you need to do is invest in some decent cables to go between your DVD and SKy as LCD really play up with bad signals.

Second thing is to try and find some more realistic settings for your tv - generally take it out of "dynamic" mode or some such and but it into cinema - this may help but what you really need to do is adjust the brightness/contrast/back light/colour etc... to get a setting best for you.

worth searching google and avforums for "LE40R73BD settings" to see if anybody has already attacked it!
