Hi
Just wondered if anyone knows if it is possible for someone to get into your e mail account from for your e mail address or any other way?
I seem to be missing one months worth of e mails that I didnt delete myself. I needed one of the e mails from that time period from a company (fraud company maybe). Is it possible or am I just going nuts!!!

Telling us who the e-mail account is with would be a good start, ISP or webmail?0

Would need more than your email address.
Go to your webmail and see if they have ended up in your spam folder.0 -
hi
It is with hotmail. I have checked deleted and they are not in there. I don't think it would be spam as I have previously opened the e mail as it come through fine. But has since vanished!0 -
Assuming you get your email via the hotmail website rather than using Outlook/ Outlook Express etc then they would need to know your password.
If you've recently added a new device or software that access the email by an application other than directly via the website then it could be the culprit0 -
If it's a webmail account, then anyone can access it from any PC, if they know or guess your username and password.
Hotmail is frequently hacked, so change your password to something more secure ASAP.
However, it's more likely to just be a Hotmail glitch-why would anyone want to delete a month's emails? No free lunch, and no free laptop
