Just a quick note for help - i am recieving 6 emails tonight - the first 4 come through ok but then the 5th seems not to download for ever and ever and eventually it stops connecting, i never recieve the 6th one. If i try and redo all the emails they all come back and the problem starts again.
any ideas on how to remove the 5th one but get the 6th?

It could be that there is something stuck on your server, maybe a very large attachment. You can use this service to see what email is on the server -

I have used it in the past, ironically I can't access it tonight.
Hope this helps.

Ah, if I'd known you use Freeserve, I'd have suggested that you do exactly that. I use Freeserve too.
