Hi
Sorry if this has been posted before.
I have a Digital TV card for my PC and get the Freeview channels on my PC. Is there a way to get the Sky Sports packages as well ?
Thanks for any advice.

Short answer - No.
With this card you will only get DTT - Digital Terrestial Television, not Digital SatelliteWe all evolve - get on with it0 -
Thanks for reply...
So there is a card that can get SKY ?
Are the websites that say you can get access to the channels for a 'one off fee' and have to download some software rip off's ?0 -
Yup they are rip offs. You can, if you have Sky, access it on your PC now but this is based on downloads. Details on their website.
Not aware of a card that will get Sky on the PC but I have never searchedWe all evolve - get on with it0 -

Not sure this might help.....
You might need a different hardware for Sky / Digibox...

Yes it is possible to watch Sky subscription channels on a PC using a combination of a Satellite PC Card, a CAM module and a valid card (via a subscription taken out with sky)
It's not easy to setup and is only recommended to techies, but there is a very long thread on how it's done at the following:-

If you just want to watch the free channels then all you need is a satellite pc card and its easy to setup0 -
