Internet Explorer Help Please

Can anyone advise on how to fix the following.When i click on to internet explorer an error box pops up saying 'A runtime error has occured.Do you wish to de-bug?
Line 1
Error:Invalid character
When i click yes,the following window comes up,
microsoft development environment(run)
and another box saying,
An exception of type'microsoft jscript runtime error object expected was not handled' click ok on that and yet another window comes up

Any help on what to do greatly appreciated.

Try TOOLS then INTERNET OPTIONS then DELETE FILES
