Loads of help & advice needed please

Ok so here I am about to try and do battle with the banks

Few questions really.. I am no longer a customer of the people I am going to write to they were paid off in full back in 2004!

1) Their bad credit still reflects on my credit report can I request both bank charges back and clean up my credit report as it remains at 'the account is defaulted. You have failed to keep to your credit agreement and have not responded satisfactoritory to requests to put your account in order. as a result the credit agreement has ended'

2) Can I claim back any charges for loans? that I got into trouble for? but which are now cleared?

I know I sound like a muppet sort of at a loss where to start!
