Hi,
I have negotiated the purchase of a paraglider from Hungary and I was wondering if I use my Credit card for the purchase I am protected if the item does not arrive. This is unlikely but better be sure.
If not I think I will need to arrange Escrow.

Purchases of £100 - £30k made anywhere in the world with a UK credit card are "protected" by s75, so you can sue the card company if things go wrong.
But - How are you going to pay an individual with a credit card?
The only way I can think of is with paypal, which is specifically excluded from s75 because paypal act as a financial intermediary.We need the earth for food, water, and shelter.
