Bank charges

This might be of interest.
Am working for a major bank. have claimed £ 4000+ in charges and interest. just received an offer of £ 3000+. no interest! will persue for the full amount.
It costs the banks approx 13 to 20p to reinstate a declined direct debit. FACT. they charge £ 38
If need be will appear in court myself. no lawyer required. banks do not want their system of costs per charge exposed. it would make them look greedier than street money lenders.
remember staff in banks only do as they are told. their low wages keep them surpressed

You don't know how much to claim for so wait on your statements then follow Martin's step by step guide in the article.

the point you are missing is that martins templates only cover if you have had bank statements back...it does not cover what happens when i want to estimate what i am owed...it is quite obvious to me that halifax dont want anything to do with me and have had no contact whatsoever after the 2 letters sent out...so i am now taking them to court....however i have to make an estimate of the charges and martin offers no help on this template,so i was wondering shall i construct my own letter to halifax with the charges i THINK are owed to me???0

Sorry but if you are estimating your charges and immediately taking the bank to court over this, then you're right there is no help on templates here.0

i have a rough idea of how much i am owed, but not exact!!
i feel this is the only way to get a reaction out of them...0
