It’s interesting to note that Rpoints* has a ‘highest cashback guarantee’ so if you use it and find cashback higher elsewhere it will make up the difference; therefore technically it is possible you could use it to get cashback at Quidco levels without having the fiver taken off

If you ask Rpoints to price match Quidco then they deduct the £5 that Quidco would have taken anyway so you don't escape losing the fiver!

I am very dubious about Quidco now. I took out car ins with screentrade via Quidco in Feb, the advertised cashback was £120. I took out my policy and paid in full. Only £20 has been credited to my Quidco account. I have approached Quidco about this twice and have been fobbed off on both occasions. Beware!!
Debt free = December 2010...as of March 2006 it is now January 2010..... as of December 2008 it is now December 2009 :j hopefully sooner!!
:jDEBT FREE:j January 2012, took longer but I got there, all by myself, through sheer hard work and pride!

The link in the original post leads to an article on supermarkets. Using the search function on the home page also only takes you to the supermarket article.

Is there a direct link to the cashback site article as I'd like to read it?

    Thanks,

i think tcb is good, would be better if the betting sites came back. also i use cashback junction which is also one hundered percent.

i find quidco dont track sometimes (as others don't) bit i have a sneaking suspision that quidco keep so of the "untracked" money.
If i upset you don't stress, never forget that god aint finished with me yet.

    Hi

Of the retailers mentioned in the article TopCashBack has the highest cashback rates for at least one of them (Currys) and is equal in first place on most of the others. Couple this with their £2.50 signup bonus (meaning first year admin charge is only £2.50) also the fact that TopCashBack offers a refer-a-friend scheme and don't charge for BACS payments - and as I say, the site is surely one of the best cashback sites out there (and irrefutably the most generous in terms of charges).

    Olly

A couple of additional TopCashBack improvements.

They have today scrapped their annual admin fees saving £2.50 in year 1 and £5 per annum thereafter.

Secondly they have paid out on the 1st of this month, so matching Quidco on another point, with no deduction for BACS transfer either.

Glad to see that the article has now been rewritten. Much better in my opinion. Take a read of the new version, IMHO it paints a fairer picture now.

People should bear in mind that these sites are only good if they actually track.

Its alright saying 'certain sites' pay 100% but what good is it if your main purchases dont track (£140 in 4 transactions in the last month for me).

TCB will never match Quidco purely because it isnt allowed to, yet it is every bit as good return wise, and is under promoted.

There's quite a bit of money to be made from cashbacking - its just that some sites are pushed more than others then people dont seem to realise there are 'others'.
The curve that can set a lot of things straight is a smile
  • I prefer to use less popular cashback sites as I find them more approachable and with better customer care (they respond to emails very quickly). The one I've been using for a while is www.quanti.co.uk - they have all the stores I shop at, give 100% cashback and pay out on request - I got the money through PayPal day after I requested it, all nice and sweet :T
