I really wouldn't bother with them, we've had NOTHING but trouble, since we've been with them about 7 months. Thought we'd carry on, to give them a chance, but it's just too much, THEY'RE RUBBISH.
Really, really bad.Save, save, save, save.0 -
I switched end of November last year, and so far everything has gone smoothly... Fingers crossed it stays that way! I even got £30 cash back from moneysupermarket that I wasn't expecting! Just appeared in my bank account :-) just waiting for my second bill now, I do like the monthly billing a lot.
Edit : just went to check if my bill had been generated yet as I submitted readings 2 days ago - apparently I have no services with them. So it's just a phantom December bill and a phantom direct debit is it? Will try phoning them tomorrow and will wait and see if the DD goes. Luckily I have kept all the emails with the submitted readings so they should be able to recreate my account if it is truly lost. Gahhhhhh!!!
Edit edit : it's all there again! Wonder if it was to do with it being month end? Anyhow, I will keep a close eye on it and keep all the emails with the readings I send them0 -
I joined in November 2012 and so-far-so-good here0

I went to First Utility last year. The initial transfer went ok. But I then tried to change to their fixed tariff. It stated that you would be transferred on the first day of the following month. Nothing to confirm I had been transferred, nothing to show what tariff you are on in your online account. Contacted customer services were unhelpful. Tried again to change to the fixed tariff without any success. So I contacted the CEO of First Utility. I have just recently left First Utility and received a goodwill gesture of £30.00 for the hassle. In the 6 months or so I was with First Utility I never received a bill despite providing meter readings monthly. We all learn through our mistakes and this was certainly one of them.0
