Worth the trip to Isense cinema in Birmingham?

I remember the days when you just went to see the film - not had to choose between "cinema experiences" :rotfl:

What is this isense all about? Reckon it'll be worth an hours drive to see The Hobbit at? Or shall we stick with our local rough and ready showcase on Chav Wednesday?

Is it really worth the extra expense, time, finding babysitters and £15 more?

BTW - OH is a LOTR geek, has been for over 30 years, and is drooling over when he can get to see The Hobbit, so thought I'd treat him to a premium experience, but only if it's worth it.

I havent been to the cinema for ages, I thought it might be some sort of smell-o-vision but unfortunately the internet seems to think iSense is some sort of halfway house between ordinary cinema and Imax.
