Timescale from DRO submission to insolvency register
Hi
Please can anyone give me an indication how long it was from the time they paid the £90, submitted DRO application before it showed up on the insolvency register?
Is it at that point that the creditors cannot or should not contact you?
I have balliffs knocking!!!
Thank you.

Let the balliff carry on knocking
Paid the £90 fee on Monday, by end of the week it was literally all over and confirmed as approved,
I do remember the intermediary called and gave me my ref to use straight away as soon as it was approved then papers followed
Think it was only a couple of weeks later when I checked I did find myself listed on the register
This was back in the summer - July 2012
If I have/do get bother I just send a copy of the papers and quote the ref though to be fair most of my creditors (1 reached DCA) acknowledged without much fuss surprisingly really just disappeared, never heard from since even though I thought they could still send statements/hassle - I was expecting far worse, maybe I'll be proved wrong0 -
Hi,my DRO application was submitted by NDL on thursday and my name appeared on the insolvency register the following monday.Paperwork arrived about a week later.0

The usual pattern is: submit it one day, it gets accepted the following (working) day and appears on the register the following day.
They were taking two days to accept last week but I think there were some IT problems.
If you want something to wave at the bailiffs, get the Intermediary to forward to you the confirming email - there's a nice letter that you can print out.0 -
Thank you all for your prompt advice.
I phoned them up too and I was advised by them that it can take on average 72hrs to process and once approved it then goes up on the register the same day.0 -
I can't remember the last time it took 3 days to accept so I think that's a bit conservative. It's usually faster than that. Though admittedly it's not guaranteed.
That may be true about it appearing on the online register on the same day so I'll check with the next one I do. I'll be impressed if that is the case though. I imagined they'd upload the day's approvals as a batch.
Anyway the general principle is that it is a fast process.
Client 1: Submitted Mon 10 Dec, accepted Tues 11 Dec, on register Wed 12 Dec
Client 2: Submitted Wed 12 Dec, accepted Thurs 13 Dec, on register Fri 14 Dec
Client 3: Submitted Thurs 13 Dec, accepted Fri 14 Dec, on register Sat 15 Dec
OK. I'm not doing any more of these now. I think I've established the pattern0
