Child tax credits after a 'payment holiday'?

Hi, just to update this with the outcome of a visit to CAB. The lady there couldn't help, gave me the wrong information, looked up general information about CTC and changed everything she said. She was very nice but I won't be going again.

That's not so good. I do hope that you can work out your estimated income for this year and get it sorted out soon.

Hi, thank you, I gave them a call and sorted it, I'm waiting for a notice to tell me what's happening next year and how much if any, I will need to pay back from this year. I was told that money from estates was included, rather than just the interest (which it does say on the website but I had been given contrary information since checking) so that puts me way out of being eligible in itself, I am perfectly fine with this -- at the end of the day this money is available for those who need it most and that's not me xx
