Help with reclaiming interest

Hiya,
this is a bit complicated, so sorry if it goes on a bit. Basically my partner had a loan account with lloyds tsb, everything was going along tickety boo, payments made regularly on time etc etc. Then he fell into a bit of a financial mess and ended up having a debt management company handle his finances since 2004.
Basically Lloyds tsb have refused to deal with the agency and have, every month been taking a payment of £140 from his current account (which is also in the red and has no funds) to pay this loan. Of course when the payment bounces, he is being charged on his current account (which we are trying to claim back) but ALSO bouncing back into his loan account , which in turn is bumping up his interest charges every month! The bank have now agreed to accept the debt management company's proposal but he is still being charged the interest every month!! Can we claim this back from when the debt management company first took over?

Thanks in advance
Donna
