Need a car for work! So many options and problems

Hi Everyone, Been using Money Saving Expert for a while now but never had a reason to come to the forums until now, so I'm hoping you guys welcome me and don't mind sparing some time to give me some much needed advise. I need to have a car for 2nd of Jan when i start a new job and time is marching on! i don't know what car…

You might want to check out the Bangernomics thread, I bought a small car with 10K on the clock in 2004 for £2500, and I still have it. Apart from the annual service and MOT theres been no major expenses.

I'd avoid any kind of HP arrangement its a millstone around the neck, too much experiance with that.
