Do kids still wear petticoats? Neither of my grandaughters 12 and 13 would even know what a petticoat is I don't think..... not sure you can still buy them for kids but maybe someone would know....#6 of the SKI-ers Club :j

I can't say I've ever seen them. My girls don't wear anything under their uniform dress apart from their knickers!!!0

Sorry not much help on petticoats, but most of the girls in my DD's school seem to wear shorts under their summer school dresses.0

Hope that helpsI THINK is a whole sentence, not a replacement for I KnowSupermarket Rebel No 19:T0 -
That site was really nice, but sooo expensive. Problem is dress is buttercup yellow & school knickers are bottle green, not a good combo as the dresses are abit see thru. V.old fashioned school used to be run by a nun!
Thanks though y'all

Would a small (say size 8) one from somewhere like M&S do (or maybe would do if you turned a hem at the top and ran another bit of elastic through)? Where I live the M&S is a bit old fashioned and it's full of petticoats and underskirts
Also, in my hometown there's a *very* old fashioned independent department store that sells all kinds of things like that ... is there anything like that near you?
Failing that, it would be dead easy to make one, either a circle shape or a 'straight' one, maybe this is an option?0
