Eon ploy or normal practice

Hi all just a question to see if anyone has come across this practise and if so if it is normal or not. I have been looking at my past bill dates and have noticed that this year my december bill is going to be dated 18th dec with my last bill dated september 5th giving a 104 day bill nothing unusual with that apart from last december my september bill date was later and december earlier. The net effect is this bill will have run 20 days longer than last year giving a bigger bill now are Eon going to then say because my bill is bigger than last year they are going to up my monthly payment

The computer is sophiscated enough to take into account the number of days in a billing period.

In any case, even if the 'all seeing computer' gets it wrong, and increases your Direct Debit, just contact Eon and if you have a case they will reduce the DD.

In most cases even if a small DD increase is justified, they will reduce the DD to its original level - as long as you accept you might be in debit at the review point.
