Electric detail sander

I've got the job of re-painting lots of woodwork inc doors, skirting and windows inside and out.
As I HATE sanding down, I was thinking about buying one of those electric powered detail sanders which will get into the corners on the windows etc
Just wanting to find out if they are any good? If they work well? Do they block up? Or are they as good as I hope they are?
Any experiences or recommendations for good sanders would be appreciated
