    Make sure your landlord is aware of the situation. You do have right of appeal with an eviction notice but if you aren't making payments of rent plus your original court order then you are at real risk of losing your home. Your landlord won't be able to stop the eviction process but they may be able to put pressure on the LA to speed things up.

    also get in touch with your LAs housing advice re the eviction notice. they talk to landlords and know the ins and outs of the legal implications of eviction notices.
