I have a Natwest E-saver.
Can I pay in money via my local branch, or does it all have to come electronically?

you'd have to pay money into your current account and then move it to the e-savings acc by on-line banking.0

Haven't got a current account. If I make out a paying-in slip, stick it in an envelope with the cash and drop it in the slot, what are they going to do? Make me go in and take the cash back?"It will take, five, 10, 15 years to get back to where we need to be. As per Ts&Cs an eSaver is an online account.
Pay money in or withdraw by transfer from/to another account only. It does not have to be a NatWest account (though at least one board member has been told by the bank that they need a NatWest Current account to get an eSaver).
If you want to test what NatWest will do with a deposit in branch good luck to you. You are a lot braver than I would be.
Oh and if you do not already have NatWest online banking you will need a card, card reader and PIN to set up the accounts that you wish to make transfers out to.0 -
Thanks for that - its not a massive bother but thought I would check.SPC #1813
