Felt type material that stops weeds

Sorry I dont know the name of it but it's a type of felt that you put on your flower bed and it blocks the sunlight out to the weeds and stops them growing.

Anyway where is the best (cheapest) place to buy this as I'd like to do my flowerbeds with it and as it is £20 for a 10m roll at B&Q it would cost a small fortune for me to do all my borders/flower beds.

Probably cheaper to buy bark chippings and put that down.

Hi Pete,
I don't know if you have a Poundland near you? - They had rolls of if I can remember about 12m long by about 1.5m for a pound! I have used one roll and find it is pretty good, equal to the type of stuff in garden centres, but so much cheaper so I bought another 4!

£20 for a 10m roll at B&Q sounds expensive as I picked up a garden catalogue at B&Q today and it has something called Weedblock Weed control fabric and has cheaper prices -

Alternatively I was going to suggest Wilkinson Stores if you have a largish store as they have lots of gardening stuff in mine not sure about this fabric tho. but the Poundland deal above sounds cheap.
