I bought a Sony Experia Miro some months ago and now my daughter is threatening to leave home because of my obsession with it lol.
I cannot get an audio book onto it no matter what I do. I bought the audio book from Audible and downloaded it onto my computer.
I have asked Audible twice for help but they are useless.
Sony hasnt replied to my request for help.
There is no help in the online manual.
I dont have wireless and I cant afford to do it via the internet on my phone. All I want to do is connect it to my computer via a USB and download it. The software for my phone Media Go says it is there on this software but it isnt. It is on Audible Manager.
Please dont buy this phone - it is the most unuser friendly phone I have ever had.

According to the specs it is an Android phone so a simple USB cable and file transfer using windows explorer should work.
Failing that the USB port has OTG support so with an OTG cable (£2 tops on eBay or Amazon) and appropriate app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.homeysoft.nexususb.importer you can transfer the actual file from a USB stick.
If your PC has bluetooth you don't need any extra hardware you just need to read up on how to do a bluetooth transfer.
Then we come to Audible which is a proprietory format with DRM so you'll need the appropriate player. I suggest you have a read here - http://audible.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/3972/~/audible-for-android which looks like it should give the answers you want.
Phones these days are small computers and if you have no technical ability it would probably be better to stick to getting your media from the same source as the device - Android buy from the Play store, Amazon Fire would probably offer best support for Amazon proprietory media such as Audible, and if you are feeling flush with cash it's Apple all the way.0 -
