Hi, I live in Canada and got a dvd set with a region code 2-4 . This does not work on my Toshiba SDV398 wich is only programmed to receive region code 1 dvds. I have a SE-R0323 remote control. Does anyone know the code hack for this specific model?
Thanks for the help.

Thank you, but they do not have the answer for that model. Will have to keep on looking if there is a solution.0

I think they posted it to show you that there is no hack for your player.0

1. Open the tray
2. press the following sequence using the number keys: 98790 (this is equivalent to the code 9879 with the zero at the end representing all regions)
3. Press Close Tray - there should be a sign on the TV screen saying something like 'Region set to 0'
4. Turn off the DVD player for 5 seconds
5. Turn on the DVD player.
OR
Switch On DVD player without disc in machine
Press Enter
Press 8, 4, 2, 6 and 9
Press Enter
Player should turn itself Off. If not switch it Off
Switch player back On0 -
Unfortunately these were the first two codes I tried with no luck.
Apparently there is no hack code for my model.
Thanks for the help.0
