    Tis my home town.

List up for tomorrow - Natty you're quiet this week, are you ok?

Kitchen all spic and span for the night. Going to read with DS3 for 10 minutes and then my friend is popping in for a chat and a glass of wine.

  • Hi all. Sorry I'm late posting again ths week, but flying has been minimal again, and the bungalow is looking grubby and untidy, I'm sad to say. OH has been quite poorly, I'm only just getting back to full strength, and I've been going in to work, walking neighbour's dogs as she is still recuperating, also shopping and doing bits for sick friend. Washing mostly up to date, also DW and bathroom clean.

Also had last dental appointment today, hurrah, but also had birthday lunch and catch up with friend, which was lovely.

ANYWAY! Enough is enough and I aim to have at least an hour's blitz before dogs walk tomorrow, then light bite, then work, and get more things tidied Friday, although I have two appointments then!! (Plus dogs .....)

I've had a quick read and can't recall much (!) but happy birthday Mr LW, and it's nice to hear the good news re children, and some of you have been manically busy!!

Skintbreeder - I saw your post about pots and pans - and mine are 12 years old from T@@@o's and have been one of my best buys! They are light, non-stick and still look nearly new.

Got to dash as oven beeping! Late'ish meal now ready!! I do intend to be a better flylady tomorrow, but I did get some Christmas cards, paper and gifts bought today too, and will be wrapping on Sunday, hopefully. R x
  • Hi Dusty

Before I go - I hope you are better, you had that cold, cough thingy when I did, and I'm really only just right, although I've been back to work two weeks nearly, now. I saw a few days ago you said you were still under par.

I do hope you are back to full strength, take care, R x

    Evening all,

Haven't got much done today but sheets were changed on Sunday so didn't need doing today which was a bonus!

After posting last night we had a spontaneous garden fire - we have one of those incinerator bins which has been full of drying old wood for weeks, so I chucked in a load of old straw and it blazed away for hours - a lovely way to spend the evening, out in the cold with OH watching the flames dance.

We did manage to go to Msons this evening so I guess that was a positive, and OH is being very helpful and doing the washing up and stuff....lucky me :)
