3 bank accounts

Just after a little advise on how to start. Got all the information, printed and signed initial letters to start.

We've got 3 bank accounts, the one we use mainly has overdraft facility of £2000 which we're close to on most occasions although we don't go over it anymore, the others are not used but we pay a regular amount back to clear overdrafts.

I'm thinking it best to try and claim the charges on the two we, in effect, don't use any more, before moving onto the current account we use for paying bills.

Would you agree this to be the best course of action ?

Also got a couple of credit cards, balances are reasonably low now but there is a history of charges for late payments, over limit fees etc when we were struggling a couple of years back - is it worthwhile hitting these at the same time ?

Any advise you could give would be most appreciated.

This seems sensible. They may decide to close your account and request repayment of the overdraft, so if you've got this covered, it's good.

You could claim on the Credit Cards at the same time.

thanks, just needed another opinion to see if I was making sense.
will get the letters sent off and put the wheels in motion
