Groceries - £34.39 / £35 shopped Tues (have a £5 off £35 @ Al*di)
Trolley - £25 / £25 bought Mon
[STRIKE]Misc - £2.94 / £10 [/STRIKE]see below
Total: £65 / £100
Fuel - carried forward to next week - I've got to go back to the hospital on Monday so will fill up then as only used 1/2 tank so far:)
The Misc spends ..... have have gone a bit wrong today
- have set my spend at £65 to cover it .....
I allow myself £5 when I go to the hospital - it's an hour & a 1/2 drive (sometimes more) each way and TBH by the time I get there - I need coffee
(so that was £1.80) but I'd also stopped at Mr A and got some cookies (I need to do something about this cookie obsession :rotfl:) and some Ribena (thinking it'd be cheaper there than at the hospital) and that was £1.80 too.
I then spent 4 hours being poked & proded & x-rayed, saw Drs, Nurses etc, etc and then had 1/2 an hour to wait for a prescription so ..... another coffee (to get me through the journey home) - this one was only £1.50 tho!
So... that's £5.10 out my £5 hospital allowance but I had 20p's and 50p's in my change so these had to go to the tins - so had to make up the shortfall from the Misc money (around £1):o
I've just joined both together (total £15) and have managed to add £5.50 to the Bus Fund pot :T so I guess it's OK.
Trouble is - I have to go back again on Monday  - might have to dig out my flask!
but I find coffee doesn't keep well in it (which is why I stopped using it) - wonder if hot choc would keep any better? Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)
