Kwik fit car insurance

I renewed with kwik fit last month stating i had 9 years NCD.

my previous insurer was admiral multi car 8 years on one car and 1 year on the other i added the two together and thought i had 9yrs.

kwik fit informed mr of the mistake and re quoted my new price.

With 9 yrs NCD £162

With 8 yrs NCD £233

9 yrs in kwik fits max NCD not the usual 5 yrs as is with most other companies.

I went onto go compare and the kwik fit prce was £180 with 8yrs NCD

Any advice on what to say when call them tommorow (they are closed sundays)

The charge you are being asked to pay will include their charge for having to make a midterm adjustment following their discovery of your incorrect ncd declaration.

Thanx for your reply the chap never mentioned any extra charges for mid term changes he told me this was my new quote which makes the difference between 8 yrs and 9yrs around 40%.

Also Kwik Fit are a broker so the quote you got online might be with a different underwriter than the policy you have currently.

Different underwriters charge different prices depending on their rates.
