Beko CDA539FB2 Fridge Freezer Not Working

Hello,
I have a Beko DA539FB2 fridge/freezer that up until this morning, was working perfectly.
This morning, I opened the fridge door and the light came on as normal, but then went off (before closing the door). I tried closing the door and then opening again and the light didn't come on again and there was no noise coming from the fridge.
I switched the fridge/freezer off at the wall and switched it back on. After a few seconds I could hear the unit working but only for a few more seconds and then it cuts out and there is only silence. I have tried this a few times, but nothing has changed.
I have looked in the manual but it only recommends getting someone in to see it. Please can someone help?
Thanks!

Is the fridge cold & the freezer frozen ??
it might only come on for a few seconds because its so cold at the moment.
If the light does not come on any more but you can hear the motor run for a few seconds the bulb might have blown.

Hello,
This was actually what had happened. I thought that the fridge/freezer would be making a constant noise.
Thanks so much for your help!0 -
