MBNA purchase of BOS credit cards

I got a letter a few months back saying MBNA was taking over my Bank Of Scotland charity credit card.
Has anyone heard anthing further?
What about any introductory offers as part of the takeover?
I already have a virgin card so hopefully there may be scope to combine limits and make the most of any new offer?

Close it down in protest. MBNA are !!!!s. They're trying to take over the world. If things go on like this there'll only be MBNA credit cards in 5 years time.
