Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind

incidentally most HAs in london rent out thier properties directly via the homelessness sections of local authorities:beer: Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.

What you really need to do is register with your local council's housing list. Anybody living in the borough is able to do this. Of course it depends on a person's needs as to whether they would ever acrue enough points to be allocated a property.
When you register with the council the form will usually ask you if you would consider other area's & housing association properties. Ticking all the options will increase your eventual chances, though unless you are homeless or have some kind of special need then you are likely to be in for a very, very long wait. The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.
I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.0
